IU Athletics Announces Major Gift by Ned and Sue Pfau in Support of Golf Course Renovation

By Matt Seban

A major gift by alumni Ned and Sue Pfau to the Indiana University Bicentennial Campaign for Athletics helped fund the renovation of the IU Championship Golf Course.

In recognition of the gift, the course will be permanently named "The Pfau Course at Indiana University."

The original Indiana University Championship Golf Course opened in 1957 and is set to reopen after major reconstruction in the summer of 2019. The 18 hole Pfau course features a new routing and layout. The existing property was used along with adjacent property near the IU cross country course.
