Golf Course Review: Sandy Pines Golf Club
The course is in pristine condition. It is the best course in Northwest Indiana.
Due to the soil make-up this course is playable when other courses are under water. A lot of attention is given to detail. On other courses that cost more money to play and have high profile members this course is in better shape day-in-and-day-out. It is beautiful!
The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. It was a great experience. I saw a lot of Illinois plates in the parking lot. I asked why there were so many Chicago golfers and was told when their country clubs were closed they came to Indiana to play and after playing several high end courses in Northwest Indiana that Sandy Pines was the one that they typically came back to play in Indiana when they were not playing their home course.
Based on my experience: I would play the course again.
